"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2:20
There are probably few Christians living with a definite purpose.  Do you know your purpose in this world?  What did God create you to do?  According to Scripture, God has saved us and called us for His purpose.  We must all ask a very important question:  What is the purpose God has for me?  We would all do well to take careful inventory of our lives.  God created us with unique talents and gifts to be used to glorify and serve Him.  We get confused by the enemy believing this life is all about our own wishes and desires.  Most Christians allow themselves to be controlled by the onslaught of daily activities rather than diligently pursuing God's purpose.  Where are you?
If God has a definite purpose for each of us, why do we have such a hard time living it?  We are guilty of allowing circumstances to dictate our direction and, before we know it, we get swallowed up by life.  Rather than following Scripture, we've been taught to live by sight not by faith.  We have been taught to stay within the confines of our own personal box.  So, we gravitate toward the things we can easily see and understand.  That is much different than what we see recorded in Scripture.  Another issue is that, although we may be saved, we may not be living a life of intimate fellowship with God.  Without a close daily walk with Him, we fail to hear and heed His words to us.  We end up chasing our own dreams and desires only to find we get no further than the ordinary, unfulfilled life.
Do you feel as though you are the mouse running on the wheel?  I read a quote this week that said, ?don't run for the sake of running?.  Most of us constantly fall into that trap.  We need to spend more time with our Heavenly Father and listen to His instructions.  We need to understand what it means to ?live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me?.  That is the only way we can fulfill His plan and purpose for us and the only way you will ever experience true joy and accomplishment in life.  We pray that you are daily learning to live by faith and not by sight.  We love and appreciate all of you!
